He does all he can to protect them and is unafraid of fighting on the front lines, using techniques and strategy he learned during his time in the IVth to gain the upper hand against his enemies.

Before the engineer Sicinius mal Vellutus joined the IVth Legion, preliminary experiments in enhancing soldiers through magitek were well underway. After a particularly brutal punishment following another failed escape attempt, IVth Legion conscript Lavender Selvik was chosen to recieve experimental treatment - a cover for experiments in hypertuning and controlling devices.These proved to be a great success, and the IVth soon had a new weapon to unleash upon the Resistance. Completely obedient and a powerful force to be reckoned with, Lavender wrought havoc on the Resistance forces and left destruction in his wake.
